HISTORICAL

The Fire

Our church congregation was formed in 1843.
The building was completed in 1881. 
A fire destroyed the interior in 1989. 

But those physical flames were used by God to refine us. 
More than rebuilding the physical building, God has been rebuilding his congregation. He has continued to transform and refine FBC Tarrytown. 

Through the grace of God, the reformation fires have never stopped.
​Through the grace of God our hearts burn with love for Jesus and love for neighbor. 

The fire began in '89, and the church has never stopped burning.
