MEN'S MINISTRY

The Men's Ministry provides educational and social outlets for men to learn, understand, and grow into their roles as Christian men. At FBC, we believe that every man should be a leader in his church, his home, his occupation, and his social life. We are called to stand apart from the ways of the world. We expect and challenge all men to step up and accept their calling as leaders in all aspects of their lives.

Right now, we are in the 2nd Phase of a 3 phase DVD Program called Men's Fraternity. This 2nd Phase is called

"Winning At Work and At Home"

About Winning at Work and Home

Winning at Work and Home, a 16-session study, focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man's chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.

James: Mercy Triumphs,

Join us as we participate in Beth Moore's latest video-driven Bible study, which focuses on getting to know both the man and the book of James. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. In the process learn how you can put your own faith into action.

The FBC Womens Ministry provides opportunities for :

•Spiritual maturity to be realized among the women in our church and community

•Time for women to develop new friendships through fellowship and strengthen existing relationships through accountability

•Contributions of time and resources to meet the needs of our sisters in the church and in the community

These objectives are accomplished through Bible studies, accountability relationships and groups, prayer, and outreach events that are planned throughout the year. We also set aside time to have fun and enjoy the friendships God has given us. We hope you will join us!

Seniors

SENIORS

Every other month we host a luncheon for any Seniors who wish to come. We typically have 80-100 Seniors from the Community who attend. Everyone gets a good, filling meal, and nourishment from God's word through various speakers. Luncheon dates are the 4th Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November.

Our adult Sunday School program encompasses a three year program that leads participants through key doctrines of the church, an overview of scripture, and basic aspects of Christian Living. Each class meets at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings, and we offer a kids program at the same time. Here is our current Sunday School class (runs through June):

Seminars

Another way we help individuals grow as Christians is through seminars. We offer four different seminars during the year:

101 Seminar: An introduction to the basic doctrines and vision of FBC. Ideal for all newcomers.

201 Seminar: An introduction to spiritual disciplines and how to grow as a Christian.

301 Seminar: An introduction to Spiritual Gifts and ministering within the body of Christ.

401 Seminar: An introduction to sharing our faith with others and the World Christian movement.

GETTING INVOLVED AT FBC...

You've visited the church a couple of times. You've enjoyed the contemporary worship, and biblical preaching,. You're starting to get to know some people at the church. How can you get more involved in the church?

We have many ways for people to plug in at FBC. The tabs on the left introduce you to places where adults, youth and children can get involved in the life of FBC. Our purpose is to grow people who love God with all of their heart, mind and soul, and love their neighbors as themselves. Every program or event at FBC is designed to help you become a little more like Christ.

Two initial steps that we recommend for every Adult are:

Attend the 101 Seminar, which will introduce you more fully to what we believe, and what oure vision is.
Join a small group. Small groups are home based Bible study and fellowship groups. They're the best way we have for newcomers to go deeper in God's word, and start building friendships within the church.
