REACHING OUT AT FBC

Jesus called all who believe in Him to follow in His steps. His life was full on incarnational love, as He stepped out of what was comfortable and familiar to enter the lives of others. We believe we should do the same as Christians.

Here are some recurring outreach initiatives:

EF Conversation Club

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month we volunteer at the EF school, building relationships with the international students there by providing them with the opportunity to practice their English.

* Conversation Club meets November 15 and 29 this month. plus, joins us for our annual ef thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, November 20 at 6 pm.

Cedar Manor Nursing Home

The 2nd Sunday of every month we head up to do a worship service at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. We sing hymns, give a short message from God's word, and spend time afterwards talking and praying with the residents. The service begins at 2:15 PM and ends at 3 PM.

Besides these regularly scheduled events, we serve occasionally at a local Group Home for adults with disabilities, work with the residents of the Tarrytown YMCA and perform various acts of service for Seniors in our community.
